Anu Kumar is a Microsoft Certified Trainer and a professional instructor at Langara College, Vancouver, where she teaches Business Computer Applications. With over 30 years of teaching experience in the field of computers, she has guided countless students through subjects ranging from computer programming and databases to applied business technology.

Beyond the classroom, Anu has also worked as a freelancer, developing customized database applications for companies and helping organizations migrate and manage their data effectively. She holds a Master’s degree in Education from India and a Provincial Instructor Diploma from VCC (Vancouver Community College), British Columbia.

Anu believes in being a lifelong learner—a principle she applies in her teaching and her personal growth. She is a compassionate instructor who encourages her students to focus on learning with curiosity and commitment, rather than being overly concerned with grades. Inspired by the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, she emphasizes wholehearted effort towards one’s goals while trusting that the right results will follow.

Environmentally conscious, Anu also strives to reduce waste, minimize plastic use, and lower her carbon footprint through small but consistent lifestyle changes.
